Hello everybody.

I deeply apologize but the books are in the wrong order.
Book #1 - Peeps by Scott Westerfeld (AC)
Book #2 - Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde (FN)
Book #3 - Scarlet Plague by Jack London (SJ)
Book #4 - Feed by Mira Grant (AL)

However, for the next theme choice it would be Regina's turn and then Frances.

-----
Theme 1 - Book 4 - Life of Pi meeting
The date is set for April 14 at 12:30 PM
Utopia, 586 College Street, Toronto, Ontario M6G 1B3
No reservations so whoever gets there first - grab us a table.

----

Theme 2 - Book #1 - Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
Last year as college freshman, narrator Cal was infected by exotic goth Morgan with a parasite that caused following girlfriends to become vampire-like ghouls he calls parasite-positives "Peeps". A carrier without symptoms, he hunts his progeny for the centuries old bureaucratic Night Watch. But victims are showing more sanity, pretty human Lacey is pushing his buttons, and her apartment building basement houses fierce hordes of ravening rats, red-eyed cats, and monstrous worms that threaten all. Morgan has the secret to a centuries-old conspiracy and upcoming battle to save the human race.

I already sent you the epub files. I am more than happy to forward it to you once again if you need it.
But you can now go ahead and read the book! Happy reading!

I will forward you the discussion questions in two weeks time.

Thank you and have yourselves a wonderful long weekend!!!

So I was planning to book time in our calendars for the book club meeting but realized Frances will be away for her cruise on the first week of May.
Is anyone planning on leaving the country/road trips for the long weekend of Victoria Day? May 19/May 20. (we could do either days)
Or it will have to wait til the 26th :((

I wanted to do a book club meeting brunch + book store visit (it's around the corner) on the same day :)
Too bad Ben McNally is closed on Sunday and Nicholas Hoare is forever closed as he retired :(

This would be the first meeting of our second theme to discuss Peeps by Scott Westerfeld.

As for the June meeting - seeing as we're all going to be at RMH, we can discuss Shades of Grey over dinner!!

Let me know!

xoxo

Hey guys,

I think I'll be going to Finger Lake during the May long weekend so I don't think I can do May 19/20.
