For our next meeting to discuss Peeps, we will be meeting at

Peter Pan Bistro - 373 Queen Street West for May 7th at 6PM.

PEEPS | Discussion Questions

1. Did you enjoy the book? Why or why not?

2. Did the actions of the characters seem plausible? Why or why not? 

For example - Lace going to snoop in the gym basement

3. Did the book end the way you expected? 

4. Which character do you relate to the most?

5.  If you were a carrier but unaware of the bigger plan, would you engage in sexual activity despite knowing what will happen if you do?

6. What is your view on STDs/STIs in general? Do you feel that this information should be provided to your partner beforehand? What if you were taking measures to keep it at bay? The herps for example.

I deeply apologize but the books are in the wrong order.

Book #3 - Scarlet Plague by Jack London (SJ)

Book #4 - Feed by Mira Grant (AL)

However, for the next theme choice it would be Regina's turn and then Frances.

Theme 2 - Book #1 - Peeps by Scott Westerfeld

Last year as college freshman, narrator Cal was infected by exotic goth Morgan with a parasite that caused following girlfriends to become vampire-like ghouls he calls parasite-positives "Peeps". A carrier without symptoms, he hunts his progeny for the centuries old bureaucratic Night Watch. But victims are showing more sanity, pretty human Lacey is pushing his buttons, and her apartment building basement houses fierce hordes of ravening rats, red-eyed cats, and monstrous worms that threaten all. Morgan has the secret to a centuries-old conspiracy and upcoming battle to save the human race.
