LEAD funding crisis

Please read Bill's email below. The final decision on permanent funding
for LEAD will be made this Friday. It's not sounding good. Some students
asked me to invite you to join them at 2:40p to talk with registration
committee members as they enter the meeting to ask for support for LEAD.
This Friday, May 4th 2:40p, 3rd floor Price Center lobby.
I hope there is a positive decision made for the continuance of the LEAD
Center. I have seen the tremendous benefit that it is for the
development of students.

The future of LEAD will be determined later this week. At this very
moment the Registration Fee Advisory Committee is considering whether or
not it should fund LEAD after June 30th.
Attached is a list of the students who serve on the Registration Fee
Advisory Committee. You may want to contact any one you to share
honestly what you think about LEAD if you feel you have benefited from
our services. Please leave me and Julia out of any communication you may
have with Committee members. Your communication should be from one
student to another.
