Toledo & Co. is an international company founded in 2003 that exports security products such as locks, padlocks, and hardware for residence and commercial spaces to different chain stores and hardware stores.
The MLGC integrates a round body, fine locking cylinder for its power source with external guide rods to combine for a compact, light weight unit. Its fine lock mechanism can lock at mid-stroke, either in the extend or retract stroke cycle. The fine lock mechanism can be activated either by a spring force, as a drop prevention measure when air pressure is lost, or actived pneumatically with pressurized air to lock the rod position into place for holidng a work piece. Both spring and pneumatic locking mechanism can be used in one unit. It is designed with air cushions at the end of stroke for maximum kinetic energy absorption. The (L) high precision ball bushing allows for smooth operation that ensures stable travel resistance, suitable for pushing and lifting applications. The (M) carbon steel alloy slide bearing provides lateral stability protecting it from side load impacts, suitable for stopping applications.

The default values of the Optional Parameters are set in this Mode to provide acceptable data for single, zero angular diameter stars. The default acquisition consists of a spiral search for a target within a radius of 15 arcsec, followed by fine-lock tracking of the target. In this default mode star selectors are moved to null the Fine Error Signal and their positions are recorded every 0.025 sec.
NULL=YES (the default) means that the next fine-error-averaging time (FEAT) interval will not begin until the star selectors have completed the repositioning of the FGS instantaneous field of view (IFOV) to the null position determined by the just-completed FEAT. This is the recommended procedure for all fixed targets.
Tracking of the target in fine lock (FINE) or coarse track (COARSE) may be selected with this Optional Parameter. The fraction of the exposure time in fine lock may be specified by entering a value between 0.0 and 1.0. If 0.0 is entered, fine lock will be tested but no measurements will be made. LOCK=FINE and LOCK=1.0 produce identical results. If LOCK=COARSE, the values of several other Optional Parameters are overridden: FES-TIME and NULL will be ignored.
Atomic operations are a key primitive in parallel computing systems. The standard implementation mechanism for atomic operations uses mutual exclusion locks. In an object-based programming system the natural granularity is to give each object its own lock. Each operation can then make its execution atomic by acquiring and releasing the lock for the object that it accesses. But this fine lock granularity may have high synchronization overhead. To achieve good performance it may be necessary to reduce the overhead by coarsening the granularity at which the computation locks objects.
