Dan Obannon (with Ron Shusett) wrote the screenplay for the original Alien. On every Alien movies since you will see his name in the credits...but 'Alien' wasn't the only one - he wrote one other epic scifi movie - Lifeforce.
It's insane in parts and unlike any other movie ever made, but if you are a fan of the Alien universe (particularly the Ridley Scott material) then you will recognise themes and even entire plot pieces in lifeforce - you will get a huge deja-vu feeling. There is definitely a creative connection here. Dan Obannon was one crazy twisted genius.

Rosetta "Zetty" Morse Weber, 39, grew up in Guilford and graduated from Brattleboro Union High School in 2003. On April 11, Morse was killed when her vehicle was struck head on by a tractor trailer on Route 100 in Moretown, leaving behind a husband and a 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
"Zetty was an eternal optimist who always saw the good in people," states her obituary. "And she had an infectious smile. For Zetty, there were two kinds of days: Golden Days, which were sunny, and Silver Days, which were rainy. And all of them were great."
"Rosetta lifted those around her, creating and holding space in her heart and the wild outdoors, sharing her gift for tenderness and laughter," wrote Guilford Select Board member Verandah Porche on social media, who said Weber was raised "in traditions of collective action and trust in humanity."
"Those who knew her in these spaces will remember her magnetic joyful presence, paired with a fierce passion for helping youth discover more about who they are and what they can do," states a Facebook post from Merrowvista
"Zetty flourished in the out-of-doors, and traveled widely to enjoy outdoor sports activities and spend time with friends," states her obituary. "She brought people together and made deep connections in every chapter of her life ... Zetty was an eternal optimist who always saw the good in people."
