Hello all,
I am writing this email to address an important issue, Coming directly to the point, I believe you remember the LCM on 9th of November 2013; it was the day when all the four LCP-applicants were announced. On that day we had announced Member on alert status for four of our AIESEC Baroda member; Junaid Menon, Aditya Bhatt, Riddhi Bharucha, and Apoorva Thakkar. This was done because they were found breaching the process of LCP election before it actually began, by talking about controversial things and spreading rumors, this showed us utter lack of Integrity and Maturity.
Following to this event, we also took back the full membership of Aditya Bhatt and Junaid Menon. And the decision of all four continuing in AIESEC was left to the LCPe and Current LCP, to take post election.
After going through the entire process of show-cause and trying to figure out the right thing, we got zero co-operation from the above four Member on alerts, all we got was contradicting statements, flipping blame games, boycotts and bad mouthing.
Thus with no option ahead of us and by the above behavior shown by them to the current leadership body of AIESEC Baroda, we hereby expel them from their current position, as well as the organization.
PS: If anybody at any point of time believes that he/she is above the organization and its processes, then here is an example of what will be the end of that very thought of him/her.
Most Importantly, You as the current member of AIESEC in Baroda, should know your responsibility about this matter, and thus I am telling you now, you should not meet or talk anything about the above event or about the current things happening in the organization to the expelled members, ever in your AIESEC Journey by any means of communication. You can stay as friends with them and do whatever, but nothing with respect to the organization. Even if they approach you please be Integral enough to come to me and me only! I will help you do the needful.
You as the member of AIESEC in Baroda should and will know about the entire matter and current happenings of the LC, by the end of this week in an LCM. And that’s my responsibility and it will be done at the right time and right way.
The decision is done and final, if you have anything to talk about please come to the current leadership body only, avoid talking anything within yourselves, to externals or to this bunch of expelled members, it will be considered act of lack of integrity and Maturity towards the organization, and will be dealt accordingly.
