Introduction
Shri Arvind Gupta is a masterful toy maker from India who creates many toys from trash and materials of every-day use by applying many scientific concepts. He currently works in the Children’s Science Center in the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), in Pune, India. His official website contains instructions for making about a hundred of such toys. Arvind Gupta has written many entertaining books about his toymaking (and about other themes). In addition to writing books, Arvind Gupta is also concerned with the manner in which books are distributed, and access by the weaker sections of society.
In this session, to be organized by Akshar Bharati, Shri Arvind Gupta will be talking about the art of book writing and will have an interesting and fun filled discussion on how books are originated.
