Everyone,
I did a quick look of a sample ccd image over V701 Tau and came up
with the following:
The 2048 x 2048 pixel ccd camera with 13.5 um pixels in conjunction
with a Canon 200 mm/f 1.8 lense yields
a 7.8 x 7.8 degree field with a resolution of 13.7"/pixel.
With a 30 second clear exposure, a 9.602 V star gave an error of
+-0.005 CV mags.
A 13.606 V star gave an error of 0.109 CV mags.
It looks as though you might get to magnitude 10.3 or 10.35 CV with an
error of approximately 0.01 CV.
I hope this helps in the selection of uses for this data set.
A the use of a clear filter and undersampling may limit data set
usefulness some some projects.
