Save the date 4/16 8:00 PM AAVC club meeting. Topics: Juniors and kids cycling parents orientation, Cat4 race team meeting

Dear all - Monday 4/16 we will hold a club meeting (chaired by Lucas).

 

The meeting will start with various club updates and then break into two sessions:

 

- Juniors and kids cycling parents orientation. There appears to be a good deal of interest in restarting the Juniors program, continuing the program for children grades 3 and up for introduction to cycling that we started last year, and starting a high school mountain biking activity. One lesson learned is that, similar to other kids sports, robust involvement of parents is required. If you have kids and are interested in having them cycle with other kids please come to the meetin. If you know of anyone that may be interested please forward this note to them.

 

- Cat4 race team meeting. Race tactics, review of the STS B-race video and lessons learned, this should be fun for all not only the Cat 4 team.
