Annual Watermoo Juniors Lead-Out

Hello, parents, youth and juniors!

This Saturday, August 9th is The Watermoo in Dexter. Traditionally, the AAVC Juniors (and their parents) have led out the racers until just before the gravel starts. The Juniors then continue on a social ride that includes donuts. The edible kind.

We'll do it again this year. If you and your junior/s are able to make it, we would love to have you there. 

• Arrive at Jolly Pumpkin in Dexter - 2319 Bishop Cir E, Dexter, MI 48130 by 6:45am
• Be on the start line at 7:00am. Race starts at 7:11am
• The juniors will lead out the group for 1.4 miles and then peel off to the side of the road (on Shield Rd) to let the peloton go by them. Usually the juniors have done this around 15mph. Wear your AAVC kit if you have one.
• Juniors will continue on a 12-mile ride that will make a stop at the Dexter Bakery for donuts and beverages (paid for by the race) before making their way back to Jolly Pumpkin. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47900074
