I had this great idea that I going to retile the bathroom floor!

I search on Google and Pinterest for different types of bathroom tile options. I look up how to tile a bathroom floor, because I have never tiled a floor before...but how hard can it be right.

I research, shop for tiles and attend a tile laying class at a local tile store for an hour on a Saturday.

I rent a tile saw, buy tiles, mortar and grout.

I demo the current flooring...oops back to the tile store because I didn't buy enough tile...hhmm what about the baseboards? Should I leave the old ones or get new ones? Since I am doing the tile now, I might as well replace the baseboard too...now I am off to The Home Depot.. And on and on it goes.

The journey from an idea to the completion of a project can be a daunting one.

If you are an ideas person like myself sometimes it's an act of God to start and finish a project.

Besides lack of money, time and skill that keep you from completing a project, there are many mental road blocks: analysis paralysis, lack of focus, perfectionism, etc.

So how can you break through these road blocks and make it to the finish line?
