There is this family whom we know of in Mudinepalli who lost everything to an unfortunate house fire.

The people living in the neighborhood came to the rescue with food and clothing.

 I wanted to know if we can step in and raise donations in an effort to help the family start over.

Its good to provide them help but my suggestion is please keep some amount for providing emergency help.

We should certainly provide them help. As pointed out by Rajesh, we shall see how poor they are and provide help for their basic needs. That too better in the form of goods instead of money. 

If the basic needs go upto 37000, all money can be spent. After all, the money is meant for helping only.

Hi,

This family is well known to our Aathmeeya Memner Satish Pamarthi, I spoke with him in last week about this and he said their house is totally burnt and they are very poor.

As Saravana mentioned we need to think in providing the surviving goods to them instead of giving money to them..Will plan how we can help in this case and proceed accordingly.

I have just enquired about the Financial Status of the Family mentioned here..
They are just 2 -Husband and Wife(both 50+).
They have a Son who got married and not staying with them currently and is not going to take care of them.
The only thing which they are left with now is 0.5 acre land.It seems this is the only source of their income.

If this is the case no need to think too much, we need to help them anyway.

My plan is we will transfer amount to Satish and ask him to inform his father in helping them what they need very urgently.

If they require some more amount we think about that.

Just now transferred RS 29 k to satish Citi bank account. Below is attached snap for reference.(RS 100 is test transfered to Satish)

Hi Aadi,

I have received Rs.29K to my Accnt.
For now i have transferred Rs.20k to my Father who will handover this in the form of Goods/Money.
Based on his inputs/response, we can plan if something more is required.
With this we still have 17K(9K will be trsferred back by me twds Aathmeeya) in our reserves which can be used in case of any Emergency.
