Dear Global Museum Friend & Supporter,
I want to thank you for being a staunch follower all these years, but at the age of 77, I have decided it is time to cease the publication of the Global Museum website.
Global Museum has been a one-person labour of love for the profession. I have produced it through career shifts, country relocations and retirement, with no government, nor financial grants from third parties.
I will shortly be redirecting the www.globalmuseum URL to the Global Museum Mastodon site - https://mastodon.online/@globalmuseum. 2,400+ of us are already on this free platform and I share news and other items of museum & general interest as I find them. Do join us there.
You can still post jobs with Global Museum using this posting form - https://globalmuseum.weebly.com/post-a-job.html - and I will add them to Mastodon and other social channels, as time permits.
