It's an exposition of the many long discussions that I had with Aaron about how people trying to effect change in the world need more and better feedback loops to help them tell whether they're being effective. I lay out two strategies that campaigners in particular can use to better understand and measure the impact that they're having.

I'm proud of the fact that it has almost double as many views right now as Nate Silver's talk at the same conference :-)
