[Aaqil] Slow Internet Problem Will Be Fixed Before Friday

Telecom Egypt CEO have said that slow internet problem will be fixed before Friday.

• According to reports, the SMW4 maritime cable was cut around 750 meters north of Alexandria, which slowed internet service in Egypt and other countries including Pakistan.

• Other reason from different sources that a massive and relatively new form of cyber attack aimed at a anti-spam company is interrupting services and causing traffic slowdowns particularly in Europe.

• Three men have been arrested by the Egyptian army for apparently trying to cut through an undersea Internet cable. A patrol stopped a fishing boat near the Mediterranean port city of Alexandria and arrested three divers, an Egypt army spokesman said on his official Facebook page. If these men had been successful, experts warned they could have taken an 'entire continent offline'
