Marda permaculture farm visit!
Dear Alumni,
Following up on what came out from AAPEN conference, and in the spirit of translating words into actions we are organizing a visit to Marda permaculture farm, in the West Bank, where we’ll be helping with work on the farm, learning about the environmental challenges for Marda village, and having a space, accessible to all, where we can meet and discuss the outcomes of the AAPEN conference and our vision for this network, as well as future actions for those who believe that change starts from our individual and collective choices and decisions. And most importantly, have delicious Palestinian food :)
Date: March 30, 31.
Program in brief:
- First day: Arrive to Marda village by 2.00pm on Friday, go on a hike to a nearby village (Yasouf), come back to Marda, and have a social evening where discussions about AAPEN will take place as mentioned earlier.
- Second day: work on the farm (building the chicken coop, planting vegetables, etc...), and leave after lunch.
Food and accommodation will be provided. Price per person is 100 shekels excluding transportation.
Details about directions will be provided upon confirmation.
For confirmation, please send an email to lina.is...@gmail.com, or monada...@gmail.com, and include your food preferences (vegetarian, vegan).
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks Ohad,
Lina
