Steps taken by AAP government in Delhi on 7-May-15: 

  1. The Delhi government has earmarked Rs 10 crore from its own budget to pay enhanced compensation to the kin of victims of the 1984 Sikh riots.
  2. The Delhi government on Thursday suspended three sub-registrars of the Revenue department based on recommendations made against them by the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB).
  3. Whistleblower official Sanjiv Chaturvedi to soon join Delhi government, months after a request to this effect was made by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
  4. The Department of Food and Civil Supplies, on Thursday, conducted surprise checks at six petrol pumps in the capital and issued challans to two of them after it found discrepancies.
  5. Delhi government has directed all its hospitals and health centres to create sensitisation and trainings for staff and public regarding Thalassaemia.
