Hi all,

I was able to talk to 5/10 members day before yesterday. These members were from the list that Falguni gave me. All five were super excited that I called them and were very friendly. They gave their candid views on the current fiasco and AAP in general. Frankly speaking, I was amazed with the "in-your-face" analysis of theirs.I talked for 2 hours! So, here are couple of lines about each's view -

1) Sahdanand - " AAP ko kuch nahi hone denge" -  he assured me. He was stressing on the fact that everyone has same goal but paths are different and he does not belong to any "camp".

2)Ravi Shrivastava - To begin with, he clarified that he also does not belong to any "camp". He stressed that everyone came together for AAP and not any one person.

3) Ravi Kumar - His was the best quote - "kisi ki neeyat sahi hai aur faisla galat, kisi ka faisla galat toh neeyat sahi". He was all for party unity. According to him, if matter goes to lokpal, not concrete proof with either side to prove anything against each other.

4) Ratnesh - Was extremely critical of both "camps" and not happy at all that this fight happened. Again, he also stressed on AAP ideology rather than fights.

5) Rati Bhai Desai - He was a very interesting man. He basically said that this fight is trivial and this is not a serious matter at all. AAP is a combination of people with different ideologies and only thing that glue them will be action on ground. He wants the "system of AAP" to be changed and rest will fall in place.

Similar to Mukul's experiences,  I also had a positive experience with those whom I could communicate in English. They were enthusiastic that someone took time to reach out to them and keep them in the loop.

For the question on feasibility to informally meet, on 27th, all of those with whom I had at least a 5min conversation said yes.

Are there any concrete plans for the meeting on 27th? If so we need to communicate the details of that meeting to them.

Regarding the choice for the chair person for the meeting, they basically mentioned that the national convener usually fulfills that role as well, but they don't have much information on how to suggest an alternative name. In general, it will be a good idea to get this type of procedural information available to them.

In the NC meeting agenda that Falguni sent, I did not see any item to discuss the items raised by Lokpal nor the decision taken by EC on BP/YY! Are there any procedural steps contemplated to bring them up in NC meeting?

There should be a process to ascertain that AAP ideology, philosophy and goals (which is it's life blood of this movement) are not insipid isn't it?  through out this the volunteers have been vocal and taken-up practical steps to keep AAP united and several great ideas/suggestions came-up. It would be great if they get complied and coordinated with NC team to get them into the culture and mindset of AAP administration team. I am hoping that the volunteers initiative will persist on this effort until something meaningful that makes the party stronger comes out.

Best Regards
Mohan
