Steps taken by AAP government in Delhi on 17-Apr-15:

1. Home Minister Satyendra Jain said the government is making provisions in unauthorised colonies to clear encroachments to provide easy access to fire tenders, Commemorating Fire Safety week. 

 

2. In a historical first, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has recruited its first woman driver. 

 

3. Delhi’s AAP government on Friday decided to appoint a special officer to supervise the implementation of Justice GR Majithia Wage Board recommendations concerning journalists and other employees of print news organizations.

 

4. Delhiites will have a say in the development of their neighbourhoods. To fulfil its manifesto promise of Swaraj (self-rule), the AAP government is making citizens participants in governance.

 

5. On the launch of the Fire Safety Week on Friday, the Delhi government announced that a fire training institute will be set up in Budhanpur Majra Village. 

 

6. Delhi transport minister Gopal Rai says that Government is looking to introduce 1,000 buses. hese will primarily ply in the outer Delhi areas as these routes are badly affected.
