Hi EMP members,

The Queens Museum is looking for an intern to assist two days/week in the development department.  Ideally, we hope to recruit an enthusiastic, web savvy individual interested in non-profit management and development.  The scope of the internship would involve various tasks and projects within the department, with a heavy portion in web responsibilities. The internship description is both below and attached.

We’ve had a really exciting year, both in the physical museum (our biennial, a giant naval battle over 1,000 toga-d people, 3 National awards for our education programs, etc), and on the world wide web. We even hosted our annual gala entirely online in lieu of a traditional sit down dinner.

We’re hoping to find someone who will help us continue on this exciting trajectory into next year. If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to contact me. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a “not boring museum”. Please note this is an unpaid internship, but experience from the essential New York Museum is priceless!

Thanks,

nora
