Title:
Random juggling patterns and q-Stirling numbers
Abstract:
We show how q-Stirling numbers of the second kind are naturally interpreted in terms of juggling patterns, and describe some recent results and open problems related to random juggling.
After the seminar we go for beer and pizza!
