Sorry for multiple postings!

Dear Colleagues,

Please consider attending this interesting COST training course involving multiple themes related to Galois fields, cryptography, code constructions, distributed storage, network coding, etc. The COST group involved is quite theoretically oriented, so this is ideal for people working on different aspects of discrete maths.

Deadline Dec. 15. Please let me know if you apply!

Funding available.

Best,
Camilla Hollanti

Subject: European Training School: registration and grant application

Dear All,

the web for the First European School in Network Coding is now online at: http://jornades.uab.cat/networkcodingts/

Please, advertise it within your research teams as well as to potential interested research teams in the countries you represent. It will also be advertised of course at the official cost Action web site. May I remind you that collocated with the School there will be Working Group (WG) meetings as well. The lectures will in fact build upon the WGs' topics.

Registration is free of charge and the Action provides a number of grants (for a lump sum according to COST rules). Registration and grant applications are available on the web. Note also we have arranged affordable guest lodging at the campus (forms also available online).

The first draft of the program should be available within a week and we hope you all will find it appealing!.
Looking forward to seeing you in Barcelona!

With best regards,
------
