What’s going on at Snug Harbor?

Real crisis or are they just trying to drum up support for their Neptune Ball?

I was quite puzzled myself with this announcement David.  They were just slated to receive millions, I believe from the state...so your hunch on raising money for the Neptune Ball sounds very logical!

I was caught a bit off guard by this article. I do know that Snug Harbor and the other Cultural Institutions Group folks (SI Museum, Zoo, Children’s Museum and Richmondtown) have been lobbying for more funding from the DCA and Lynn invited me to be part of a meeting with Councilmember Rose for that purpose.  I do agree that the timing of the article is interesting given the upcoming gala. I’ll report back to the Board if I learn any insightful information behind this.
Thanks
Janice

Janice:

Do we have a board meeting tomorrow?

I don’t think I’ve gotten anything.
