RIP Kuldeep Nayyar ji

[Aaghaz-e-dosti Initiative]

Friends,

With heavy heart, we inform you that Kuldeep Nayyar is no more. Born in Sialkot on 14 August 1923 , he remained a peace crusader till his last breath. He was an eminent activist, human rights defender and veteran journalist who worked fearless all over his life. 

Few among us from our India team met him just ten days ago on 12th August 2018 where he expressed his happiness with Aaghaz-e-Dosti work. He also blessed a 40 member delegation of Aman-Dosti Yatra that went to Wagah border to lit candles for Indo-Pak Peace on 14-15 August night. He was living at New Delhi and left all of us today 23 August 2018. 

We express our deepest condolences on his demise. Our sympathy with his family. His teachings and values will remain with us.
