Dissertation Data and Fieldwork Award: Bruce Baigrie, Syracuse University in recognition of the research project titled "Energy Transitions Through the Fortunes of Labor: The Case of South Africa and Mexico"
Best Student Paper Award: Anna Cain, Australian National University in recognition of the paper "Energy justice of sociotechnical imaginaries of light and life in the bush"
Advancing Diversity and Inclusion Award: Mahya Ashtiani, University of Guelph in recognition of work on integrating diverse perspectives into energy policy and planning.
Powershift Award: Michelle Martinez, University of Michigan in recognition of Detroit-based work that demonstrates commitment to social justice and engagement in public scholarship
Energy Luminary Award: Dr. Jennifer Baka, Pennsylvania State University in recognition of the paper "Cracking Appalachia: A Political-Industrial Ecology Perspective"
We will recognize these award winners at our EESG Business Meeting during the AAG annual meeting. The business meeting is scheduled for March 27, 2025 at 11:40-12:40 PM US Eastern Time in Room 259, Level 2, Huntington Place [Link to business meeting details in the AAG Program]. All are welcome to attend.
