Looking for new student representatives!

Dear EESG members,

We are seeking nominations for two student positions. Being involved is a great way to engage with the broader community of energy geographers!

The Student Representative (2+ positions, 2 year term, 2021-2023) is a two year position. Nominees must be enrolled as a graduate student for the entire duration of the two-year term. Responsibilities include: Assist with planning of EESG events, conference activities (e.g. social events, poster session), initiatives, and web and social media management; Help with reviewing awards; Other periodic tasks to assist the rest of the board as needed.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, March 31st. All nominations should be sent to Anthony Levenda, Chair, at anthony...@ou.edu. In your nomination email, please indicate (a) the full name and affiliation of the individual being nominated, and (b) a couple sentences about why you are interested in the position. Nominees must be a registered EESG member. You can and should nominate yourself!
