UNPRECEDENTED OPPORTUNITY FOR ENERGY GEOGRAPHERS
As co-founder of the Energy and Environment Specialty Group (1979!), I am especially pleased to share some good news. At long last, energy geographers have a journal that is specifically soliciting manuscripts from energy geographers. Energy Research & Social Science has just established a new sub-section that is ideal for us.  If you want high impact, a quick turnaround (7 days to first decision), wide readership, and the potential for maximum citations, please send your manuscripts to ER&SS at https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/energy-research-and-social-science.  As a member of the Editorial Board, I am available to assist in smoothing the submission process.  My email is Pasqu...@asu.edu.  Here is the description of the new section: Energy geography and the political ecology of space includes remote sensing, human geography, political geography, multi-spatial studies, spatial justice, and political ecology studies.  In my experience as an energy geographer, I have found no journal to be quicker and better organized during the review process. Now that we have a targeted outlet, let's ensure we give ER&SS the first opportunity to publish our scholarship.
