EESG Co-Founder Mike Pasqualetti named 2025 AAAS Fellow

Dear EESG Members and Friends:

I write with news of a career honor and milestone for one of the founders of our Specialty Group:

Martin J. “Mike” Pasqualetti has been named a 2025 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Mike co-founded our Specialty Group in 1979 and twice served as the group's chair.  We are grateful for his leadership and celebrate this distinguished recognition of Mike for his "decades-long contributions to the geographical study of energy and its intersections with society, land use and sustainability."
