Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts for functional and regression testing.
Should have experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record in leading a team and managing project activities.
Expertise in automation tools and technologies (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.), programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Javascript, Python, Java, C#), and scripting.
Develop scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript (2-3 Years of experience).
Able to work in an ambiguous and highly interdependent work environment to get things done in an efficient and tactful way
Implement BDD frameworks and develop reusable components (POM, fixtures, test runners, libraries).
Create, execute, and maintain API automation scripts using REST Assured, Playwright Request API, Postman, or equivalent tools.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Configure automation reporting using Allure, TestNG, JUnit, or other reporting frameworks.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to support Agile delivery.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team objectives.
Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or NeoLoad is an added advantage.
Required Skills
Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in automation scripting and building framework using Selenium/Cypress.
Minimum 2–3 years of strong hands-on experience in Playwright using TypeScript/JavaScript.
Solid programming skills in at least one language: Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience working with test frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, NUnit.
Exposure to mobile testing (manual and automation).
Familiarity with reporting tools: Extent Reports, Allure, or similar.
Strong knowledge of Jira and Agile methodologies.
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
