Utility - Android host integrity check

Dear All,

Here is an Android utility that can be used for checking if Aadhaar biometric RD Service can be initialized on the host device or not. To support standard RD Service on an Android host, the host should pass time check, root check and safetynet check like in the attached screen.

Additionally, The utility shows details of all the RD services installed on the host and test capture functionality if the device is READY. Currently, test capture works only for fingerprint devices. Iris capture will be added in next release.

Hi,

I'm getting SafetyNet check fail in android phone.

It displays Google play service is not available but it is there.

Android version:  6.0.1 

 

Please look into the issue.

As discussed, the error is from Google Safetynet API itself. Mobile host would have some issue related to Safetynet. Please check.

The "Host and RDService Validation" app is updated with option to provide parameters like fcount, icount, FMR/FIR, XML/Protobuf in test capture.

You may forward this app to your customers to verify host integrity. Also, this would be a common demo app for any RD service/device.

Dear Netaji,

 

You have hardcoded pCount=”1” in your application which is not supported by RD Service as of now and so capture test getting failed.

Either you can hardcode pCount=”0” or you can provide option for selection in section of fingerprint and Iris both.

Thank you for the quick feedback. We have updated the app with pCount dropdown as well.

Earlier, assumption was that RDService would ignore pCount if it doesn’t support face capture.

Fingerprint working fine but while iris, in capture request, RD is not getting any call on intent and even no popup dialog on screen.
