Updated SURGE Logos

Hey all, 

We've been having a discussion about our logo and trying to keep as consistent of a logo and brand image as possible. Peikwen has pointed out that perhaps having 3 different colors/each city is not as strong of an idea since it might confuse people who aren't familiar with SURGE yet and it might be better to have  one main distinct color. We discussed the blue as being the strongest color so I've kept that one for now.

Meanwhile, Bonnie has been dealing with trademarking our logo and since the name SURGE is already taken, we will need to register as SURGE Art and thus were discussing updating our logo to reflect this and include the word "art."

So now I've been having a play with updated versions of our logo and could really use some feedback to move forward with it. Please look at the following PDFs and let me know initial thoughts. I think personally I prefer when the "art" is inside the blue frame as it is closest to our original logo and seems cleanest. Also Peikwen, I have included what it looks like against a non-white background if the words are bound to its frame as you had wanted to see.
