Back to school with SNM!

Mommy Sherry here, hoping you had a wonderful and relaxing Spring
Break! If you think your break was too short (I do!), don't worry
because your mommies have some fun events planned for this week to
make the transition back to school a little less painful. =P
So for this week we have:
***Yummy Eatings at Sufficient Grounds***
When: Thursday 4/1 at 6:30pm
Where: Sufficient Grounds (on Durant next Yogurt Park)
What: Did you know that Sufficient Grounds is going out of business?
Not an April Fool's Joke! So to show our support (and to eat really
yummy sandwiches and salads), we're going to have a nice family dinner
there. Plus, Mommy Micca has a whole bunch of those $1 off coupons, so
we get to have delicious food, AND save some money too!
***SNM Karaoke Pt.2***
When: Saturday 4/3 at 10:30pm
Where: Meet at Underhill (Channing side) so we can get rides to Music
Tunnel
What: Didn't get enough karaoke last time we went? Not to worry,
here's another chance! After Techno's LAN B4 Time (see below) we're
meeting up to sing our hearts out. Come join your cousins from NC-17
to have some fun and meet new people!

***Language Revitalization Conversation Night 2!***
When: Wednesday 3/31, 7:30-9:00 pm
Where: 255 Dwinelle
What: Come to our SECOND Language Revitalization (LR) Conversation
Night! Here, you'll have a chance to join a conversation group where
you'll meet new friends and either have a chance to practice your
native tongue or get the opportunity to learn a new language you want
to practice.
This week's lesson: Mandarin
*Even if you did not come to our Info Night - don't fret! Just stop
by, and
we can accommodate you!

***Techno LAN B4 Time VI***
When: Saturday 4/3 from 4-10pm
Where: Dwinelle
Tournaments begin at 5: SC, Brawl, CS, & Rockband
Sign up for tournaments on the website! Open at the website

***Maxwell Night!!!!***
When: Saturday April 10th, 7:30-10:30pm
Where: Maxwell Field (by Bowles/Haas)
What: Come out and show your family pride by competing against the
other families in kickball, capture the flag, and waterless water
polo! Wear comfortable shoes you can run in and remember to WEAR YOUR
FAMILY COLOR [GREEN] cause you have to REP IT :]! Remember to be there
on time because we will start promptly and you wouldn't want your
family to lose just because they didn't have enough people right?
We better see you all there next Saturday wearing GREEN!!!
***Issues/Techno Film Contest***
Starting March 17th, rules will be released on our website and
contestants can start their projects! If you're interested in showing
off your creativity in expressing your views on today's Asian American
issues, then be a contestant! Submissions will be accepted until April
14th. Contact Elizabeth Phung (phun...@gmail.com) for more info on
entry applications and how/when to submit your work!
***Karaoke Contest***
Rules and application will be available soon on the AAA website:

So that's it for this week. Mommy Sherry has some homework and
studying she should be getting to. (Boo!) Best of luck to all you guys
with midterms coming up this week and the following weeks. Only 5 more
weeks of school. We're in the home stretch! Stay dry this week and
remember, don't hesitate to call up any one of your mommies for a chat
or some boba or something. We'd love to hear from you! =D
