I caught this "new" radio being touted by GigaParts today.
It is a 220Mhz MOBILE FM transceiver with output up to 50 watts. Just the thing for me to give AA4ZZ another band from K8YC and KG4QEN during contests. That's probably all I would ever use it for, but I might purchase it if you think it to be an "okay" rig. It would be easy to pop into my car for a trip the the church parking lot during VHF contests.
It's only two extra QSOs unless I invite CDXA to meet me at the church on contests weekends and have the members get in line to give you some added QSOs!!
This seems to be the first time I've seen a 220MHz rig become available in awhile.
