Fwd: [CDXA] Update on Ted, W4VHF

Hello CDXA members,



Our dear friend, Itice Goldthorpe, asked me to write this note giving you an
update on our CDXA buddy, Ted Goldthorpe, W4VHF.



As many of you know, Ted was in the early stages of Alzheimers before they
moved to Nashville last year to be closer to family.  Since that time, Ted's
health has slowly deteriorated.  Within the last week or so, their doctor
recommended that Itice call Hospice for the extra care and assistance they
could give the family with Ted's situation.  This does not mean there is a
timeline of any kind involved at this point, just that the services of
Hospice could be of great assistance as they go through the progression of
this disease over the next months.  Ted has good days and not so good days
as you can imagine.  The CDXA Club has been such a big part of Ted's life
and all of you have been so good to him that Itice wanted you to be aware of
his health status.  She just covets your prayers.



As requested by Itice, I will be pleased to pass along updates about our
friend.  If you have any questions, you can contact me anytime.  Please do
