to a Melodic Daydream
Hello Friends!
Our last show of the year is almost upon us. We are so thrilled to be
apart of the GoGirlsMusicFest and hope that everyone can make plans
now to attend. The event will benefit the Dumb Friends League and will
be an incredible lineup of women in music!

We are also happy to announce that we will be playing this show as a
full band. We are honored to have Dave Beegle joining us on electric
guitar! This should be interesting :)

8TH ANNUAL GoGirlsMusicFest
SET FOR The Toad Tavern in Denver, Colorado.
To Benefit The Denver Dumb Friends League

Nation's finest independent women musicians to raise money for local
animal friendly organizations in twelve cities from Long Beach to
Brooklyn

Sugarland, TX--Ask Madalyn Sklar, the founder of GoGirlsMusic.com,
about the state of independent music and her eight annual
GoGirlsMusicFest and she'll tell you it's going to the dogs...and cats,
birds, reptiles, etc. in twelve cities across the U.S. That's because
Sklar and her GoGirls Elite members are bringing more than music to
local venues this year: proceeds from each city's event will benefit a
local animal-friendly organization or shelter. "We wanted to do
something totally different by allowing each show to choose a local
'animal friendly' organization," says Sklar. "I'm a huge animal lover
so it just made sense to go this route this year." LnZ Kayd [Denver
fest Coordinator] comments, "It's a really amazing lineup of some of
the most talented women in the Denver music scene. We are coming
together to help the Dumb Friends League and honor GoGirlsMusic, an
organization that provides endless support for women in music.
Independent women musicians rocked venues in Dallas, Texas at Opening
Bell Coffee on October 13; Long Beach, California at Liquid Lounge on
October 18; Los Angeles, California at Maude Carrin Boutique and
Gallery on October 20; and Nashville, Tennessee at Mercy Lounge on
October 21. November

3rd featured three shows in three cities: Houston, Texas' Last Concert
Café, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's New Alhambra Arena, and Phoenix,
Arizona's Club Mardi Gras. On November 8th, the Festival moved to
Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Piano Blue; followed by an evening in Austin,
Texas on the 10th at Momo's Club, and Brooklyn, New York's Hank's
Saloon on the 11th. The 2007 edition of the Festival wraps up out west
with a show on December 1st in Denver, Colorado at The Toad Tavern;
and features the music of Jessica Sonner, Tami Gosnell, Varlet,
Poesis, Pairadeux, Melissa Ivey, a Melodic Daydream Band and the
Passive Aggressives.

About GoGirlsMusicFest
Madalyn Sklar, founder of GoGirlsMusic.com, created GoGirlsMusicFest,
a series of annual showcase events across the United States. The
festival promotes independent women in music while supporting various
charities which have included MusiCares, Rock 'n' Roll Camp for Girls,
American Liver Foundation, The Lynne Cohen Foundation for Ovarian
Cancer Research and more. Since 2000, well over 100 all volunteer run
shows have taken place throughout the U.S.

About GoGirlsMusic.com
GoGirls is a unique organization that focuses on advancing the careers
of independent female artists. Founded in early 1996, the organization
works tirelessly to help artists through education, networking, and
events like the GoGirlsMusicFest, Invasion of the GoGirls @ SXSW, Folk
Alliance and more. Artists who become involved have the opportunity to
perform, have their work reviewed, and get involved with a hardworking
group of women who "get things done" in the music scene. More info at
