to Media Studio Arts Symposium

Greetings Everyone!

I am writing to announce our third annual Media & Studio Arts Symposium, to be held at the University of Michigan Duderstadt Center, February 20-23.

Our theme this year is 'Inventing Oneself Through Art and Technology.' The Symposium is FREE, with no registration, and is open to all -- students, alumni, staff, faculty and the public are welcome!

A diverse community of presenters representing students, alumni, staff, faculty, and industry professionals will be sharing their expertise, experience and collaborations.  Join our community as we embark on this in depth exploration of the creative process, exploring the tools and techniques that can make your vision a reality!

The third annual Media & Studio Arts Symposium is hosted by the Duderstadt Center, the nexus of interdisciplinary innovation, research and discovery for media creation and performance technologies at the University of Michigan.  The Symposium will be based primarily in the Duderstadt Center’s state-of-the-art Video Studio, showcasing the latest in Video, Audio, Interactive and Projection Technology. This year we also have special events taking place in adjoining locations, the Dudertstadt Center Design Studio and the Stamps Auditorium in nearby Walgreen Drama Center.

Please visit our website for a detailed schedule of presentations!

* Note - Seating is limited, so first come, first seated.  For faculty bringing classes, please let us know in advance if possible.

Best wishes,

The Media & Studio Arts team
