June meetup

Hey everyone,

Unfortunately the speaker I had scheduled for June had to reschedule due to a late-notice work trip. Does anyone want to step up and take his place?

If not, another option would be to just have a social meetup since we haven't done one of those in a while. One idea I had would be to have a potluck picnic in one of the parks around A2 where significant others and family members could attend as well. Does that sound appealing?

I could do "An espresso machine joins the Internet of Things".

I've been meaning to put a Wi-Fi board from Particle.io into my Silvia espresso machine to control the temperature precisely and use a Ruby web app to monitor and tune the controller.

+1 if you like the idea and I'll get to work to have something to show you on June 30!

That reminds me of another idea I had which would be to do a "Show and Tell" meetup where people could show off a cool and maybe different Ruby project they have been working on. Does anyone else have anything they would like to demo?
