Feb Meeting?

Are we meeting this week? If we do not have a talk scheduled, possibly
we could take Rails 3.0 our for a spin as group. Possibly write a
simple app, try using a few of the new goodies, take turns doing some
live codings...

I don't have anything prepared, but am willing to make a fool of
myself for the good of the group.

I rescheduled the meeting on the calendar a couple days ago to the
16th, since we just had our meeting. It seemed like people were
generally in favor of pushing the meetings back to the 3rd Thursday,
since there seem to be a lot of conflicts earlier in the month. I
definitely think we should do the rails3 thing, and invite Trek's
students, but it might be a bit short notice to do it this week.

On another note, Joe O'Brein is in town all week doing Rails coaching
at SRT, so hopefully we'll be able to convince him to come out for
dinner/drinks. Maybe this week should be a social meeting?

I am up for being social this week. FYI, I will be out of town on the
16th, so have fun and feel free to take my Rails 3 idea, but I will
not be there to humiliate myself.

Ahh, crap. Just the 16th, or will you be gone all week? Ruby Detroit
is Wednesday the 10th, and I don't want to conflict with them again,
but I think we could do the 9th without much conflict. Go Tech is
that day, but I don't know how much attendance overlap there is
between us and them. Anyone know of any other conflicts?

Well let's plan on a2rb rails3 hackathon some time next week, then. I'll set up a doodle when I get back to my computer.

Also, Joe O'Brien of EdgeCase fame says he's planning on going out tomorrow, so if anybody wants to go to that, keep an eye on @objo.
