Hey all,

I am still on the lookout for a speaker for this month's meeting on the 28th. I have someone tentatively scheduled for May and a speaker for June but I haven't had any firm commitments for April yet. Any takers?

One topic that might be good would be to talk about integrating Rails with a JS framework like Angular or Ember. That is something that hasn't been covered recently.

I could do a talk that would consist of two parts:

-          One to introduce a nosql datastore called riak and how to use with ruby (rails, Sinatra, etc.)

-          The other part would be to show how to use flightjs (a different kind of js framework) with rails

This sounds good. Perhaps it could also lead into a discussion of the state of JS frameworks more broadly. I have been seeing some controversy around Angular lately and I'm curious what other folks are thinking about the space.

Moncef, thanks for your willingness to speak. I will put you on the schedule. Do you have a title?
