Hey everyone,

For the September meetup I would like to feature some Ruby frameworks other than Rails. I already have someone who will be speaking about Lotus. Does anyone else have a framework they would like to speak about?

Hey Patrick, I could speak about Sinatra (though probably a lot of people could, so maybe someone else could take that one). I could also talk about EventMachine, or even just building an app using only Rack and plain Ruby.

I think a talk on EventMachine would be cool.

A talk on EventMachine would be awesome Steve!

I tried to write a simple script a while back to mock an external server (non http) and sent messages based on keys pressed in the terminal. It was definitely not easy to find documentation on how to plug together different components (tcp server, keyboard reader) into an event loop that worked...

Can someone send me a link to the Sept meetup?

Wish I could make it.  I already got a music class that night.  Hope someone will post a video or slides.

I could present Middleman, the static site generator, if more content is needed.

I think we are OK for content at the moment. You could do that presentation at a future meeting though.
