Just a reminder that our next monthly meeting is today, Monday,
November 9. It will be in CSE 1650 starting at 7:00pm. Note that this
is next door to our normal meeting place. There is another event in
1670. After the talks, some of us will move to a local restaurant or
bar; everyone is invited. Directions, Calendar, etc. are available at:

http://groups.google.com/group/a2rb/web/meetings

MONDAY'S AGENDA:

1. Introductions

2. Discussion

At the last meeting, someone requested that we spend a bit more time
on this early in the meeting. Ask Ruby questions, bring up new things
you've learned, give a lightning talk...

3. Charles Lowell talks about Embedding Javascript inside Ruby with
the Ruby Rhino or The Ruby Racer (and why this is useful!) He's back
in town from Austin, so don't miss it!

4. Bill Chapman talks about RVM, the Ruby Version Manager. RVM allows
you to easily manage multiple installations of Ruby, so you can test
your code on each one. See http://rvm.beginrescueend.com/ for more
information.

5. Anything that I forgot?

6. Move to somewhere with beer.

We hope to see you there.

Presenters: Feel free to add more info about your talks either to
this email or to the meeting page at http://groups.google.com/group/a2rb/web/2009-meeting-notes
.

Sorry guys I think it's 1690 and not 1650. Either way, it's the room
to the left of 1670. ;)

Hello,

If anybody is interested in helping me with using dreamhost and git for a few minutes before the meeting, I would appreciate. I am having problems, that I think are probably very simple, but I am not able to fix. Thanks.
