The setting is currently blank, which means postings may either
be snagged by your typical spam filter, or ignored by readers whenever
the Subject line resembles your typical spam subject.
Setting a tag would let everyone know this was coming from the
A2MakerFaire Google Group, and it would let us also set our spam filters
and mail filers appropriately, to let them through, regardless of Subject.
I'd recommend [a2mf] or [A2MF], as this is unique, yet short enough
to not hide the true Subject on mail readers that only display the
first few characters of the Subject in their summary pages.
(IOW, IMHO "[A2MakerFaire]" would be too long of a tag...)
Thanks!

Uh, can we PLEASE use the shorter version [a2mf] or [A2MF],
for the reasons I explained???
I am one of those people that have the "short Subject summaries"
on my mailer, and [a2makerfaire] uses up a good chunk of my entire line....
Thanks!
