Green Drinks is an informal happy hour and an opportunity to meet with other environmentally-focused professionals and community members.
Community Solar is a new concept developing across the country that allows groups of people to invest in a solar energy system built in their community and then get money back either through a reduction on their energy bills or a periodic payment for the value of the energy produced by their share of the solar collectors. The GLREA has helped lead an effort to bring Community Solar to Michigan. Now, working on a Michigan Energy Office funded Feasibility Analysis of Community Solar in Michigan, GLREA is gathering information and data on Community Solar efforts in Michigan and across the nation. Our experts will discuss what is happening now and what the future might bring for Community Solar in Michigan.
