Hello Green Drinks Enthusiasts!

Happy New Year!  Perhaps we can get Green Drinks rolling again this year.

To kick things off, the Ann Arbor chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) is hosting Green Drinks on Thursday, Feb 11, 5:30-7:30 pm at Conor O'Neill's. 

Would you like to learn about a promising plan to implement a national carbon price?  CCL volunteers will give a brief overview of our proposal for federal legislation, called Carbon Fee and Dividend, and how you can help move it forward.  The CCL proposal has been endorsed by Mayor Christopher Taylor, County Commissioner Yousef Rabhi, and the Ann Arbor Energy Commission!

CCL is a national, non-partisan, grassroots organization whose sole focus is to enact Carbon Fee and Dividend.  We have over 300 active chapters, including 9 in Michigan (with 3 more Michigan chapters in formation).  In 2015, CCL volunteers held over 1200 meetings with members of Congress, published over 500 op-eds, and published close to 3000 letters to the editor.

Hope you can join us for an evening to unwind, network and learn about climate change solutions.
