Adv. Web Dev & Mobile Dev classes

So everyone I know is struggling to keep ahead of the curve on new technology, including myself.  How can you keep up with the latest techniques when something new comes out every day?  Seems to me we could really use a network of training classes here in SE Michigan.  Classes that are affordable but not free so they are worth doing and worth doing well.  Classes that cover those new libraries or frameworks or systems that you hear people talking about.  Classes that could get organized quickly based on demand, taught at a good location for learning, and then be queued back up for when interest.  This community has many potential teachers in it - maybe you know a subject that five other people want to learn it.  Maybe you want to learn a subject and you get five other buddies to talk your friend into teaching it, all you need is a location and some help organizing it.  I dunno, it all just seems obvious to me.

I think this is worth doing.  I think there is pent up demand for it, and I have already found a few people who agree with me.  The key to making something like this work is going to be, to start with, market research.  If this is at all something you would like to see happen, I ask you to please take a second and fill out this survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Y37CDR8
