New node.js meetup groups in Ann Arbor and Detroit

Last night at the node.js show and tell meeting, 2 new node.js meetups were announced.

detNode - meetup.com/detNode - The first meeting will be on January 19th most likely at The Madison

a2Node - meetup.com/a2Node - The first meeting will be on January 26th at the SRT Solutions offices. This group will meet on the 4th Thursday.

These groups are intended to be hands-on hackfests instead of eyes forward style presentations. Both groups are intending to run the same project/content for the foreseeable future. So hit up the group that is closest to you, or the one you get more value from. You could also put some code retreat style constraints and build the project at both groups.
