I’m starting a new intro Animal Flow series at A2 Yoga beginning next Wednesday and continuing from March thru the end of May. Classes are Wednesdays, 6:15–7:30pm. This beautiful space has lots of open floor and room to play. Here is the schedule link.
Here is a sample video of me doing Animal Flow. Here is the creator of the practice speaking on what the practice is.
If that’s enough info for you, I hope to see you there! If you want more than those glimpses, feel free to read on.
Animal Flow is a ground-based, quadrupedal movement practice that builds strength, coordination, and mobility through flowing sequences and transitions. It often feels like a cross between yoga, capoeira, and floorwork: athletic, playful, and surprisingly expressive.
This is an intro series, taught with multiple levels per movement simultaneously so you can meet the practice where you are in your body right now. If you enjoy CI, floor work, weight-sharing awareness, getting stronger, and exploring new movement vocabularies, this will likely feel very at home in your body.
No equipment needed. Wear comfy clothes you can move and sweat in.
Cost: $1-20, donation based.
I’ll be running these through March–May and would love to build a little community around the practice.
If you’re interested, even if not this week, please feel free to message me directly.
First class: this Wednesday, March 4, 6:15pm-7:30pm
Thank you for your consideration!
