CI Class & Jam THIS SUN. in THEATER at Andy Arts

We're in Detroit this Sunday April 26th for our 10:30am class and our 11:30-1pm jam. 

We'll be in the THEATER at Andy Arts this Sunday and next month too. Enter through the usual door on Parkside then walk through the "living room" and take a left to enter the theater. Bring layers since the temperature is more variable in the theater.

Also, my friend Scott is hosting an Underscore in Chicago on Saturday May 16. (Plus you could stay over and attend Chicago's Sunday jam.) The CI "underscore" was developed by the late great Nancy Stark Smith, one of CI's founding cohort. It's a long-form dance improvisation structure designed to integrate contact improvisation into a broader spectrum of dance, movement, and physical expression. It acts as a framework for research, play, and practice, guiding dancers through various energetic states—from quiet, solo, internal work to high-energy, shared physical interaction—over several hours or longer.
