Twice monthly Sunday jams not enough for you? Then come dance on Thurs 7pm at the Dhu Varren Gretchen's House in Ann Arbor!

This weekly jam was conceived as an adjunct to regular Sunday jams for those of us who would like to commit to dancing more frequently (Ann Arbor jams used to be weekly before the pandemic!). No instruction is provided so familiarity with basic skills such as weight sharing and pouring, rolling point of contact, and an ability to find and share center of gravity with other dancers is necessary to dance safely. Attendees will also find it helpful to be familiar with the culture of contact improvisation via semi-regular attendance at jams or regional events/classes here or elsewhere, currently or in the past; if any of these are new to you, please consider attending Cara's Sunday classes and jams in Ann Arbor or Detroit on alternating Sundays.

Hi!

Is there someone who passes near Main and Packard or somewhere within a 15-minute walking distance from there to get to the Dhu Varren Gretchen's House?

If so, I would love to ride with you both ways and would be happy to give my part for the costs of gasoline and wear & tear.

Looking forward to hearing from you before the jam tonight!
