Carplay simulator

We were discussing Automotive and Mobile at Mobile Monday a couple days ago and they said there was a simulator for Carplay in Xcode. I can't find it in the latest version. Someone told me yesterday that it was in one of the beta version, but not in the production release.
I'm running Version 6.1 (6A1052d).
Anyone know the full story here? Was it up there and taken away? Is there any way to gain access to it as a little guy (I think "players" in the industry can get access to it through Apple)?
I tried driving over an iPhone 6+ to see if that helped, but all it did was bend the car. The phone was fine...

I don't think there's a public CarPlay simulator.
You can use a secondary screen to get some idea of how it will work, but it's not exactly the same.

Anyone planning on getting a CarPay console for their vehicle? Several units now available in after market.
This is going to be a fun new addition to the mobile dev world!

I am more tempted to just mount an iPad in my dash.
